Global Social Venture Competition (GSVC)
About GSVC
The Global Social Venture Competition is the largest and oldest student-led business plan competition providing mentoring, exposure, and prizes for social ventures from around the world. The mission of the GSVC is to catalyze the creation of social ventures, educate future leaders and build awareness of social enterprises. The competition supports the creation of real businesses that bring about positive social change in a sustainable manner.
GSVC at London Business School
London Business School is the regional GSVC partner covering Europe, Africa, South America, Australia, and Asia (excluding India). In this region, GSVC is also supported by Outreach Partners including the University of Geneva (Switzerland), ESSEC Business School (France), Catholic University of Milan (Italy), and a consortium of business schools in Korea (Social Venture Competition Korea).
At London Business School, we organize the judging of business plans from across this region and pass on the winners to the finals at UC Berkeley Haas School of Business, where finalists compete for $45,000 in cash and travel prizes.
